This download caught my attention the other day, it's a revamped Pleasant View. There are two versions, with and without families. This does like to use quite a bit of custom content but it's all linked in the description.
You can download the mod and find all information here.

The Sims 4. Klepto Legacy - Generation 1, Chapter 1
Recently I've got back into The Sims 4. Graphically I prefer it out of all of the Sims games, it's like the 2 but more modern. I do miss the seamless neighbourhood though.
This is Keira Klepto, my legacy founder. A slightly punk rock, young adult female. Black hair, pale skin, brown eyes. I moved her into the 40 by 50 lot near the bottom of Newcrest and that's where my legacy kicks off.
Keria is a family orientated kleptomaniac with the mean trait. She lives in a tiny one room house if you wish to exaggerate and call it that. She works as a petty criminal. Keira has everything she needs, or so she insists. Her prized possession is her punching bag, to keep fit for work and to get her anger out.
I'm going to write this as first person.
Most nights a I can be seen hitting up the bars of Willow Creek and Oasis Springs. I like a good drink, who doesn't? I'm earning enough to pay for it anyway.
This is Don, he's the mixologist. He's really good at it. I mean, sure, he's got those beautiful eyes, but an he mix a drink. The thing is he's single. I'm single. It could work... However he doesn't seem to enjoy the activities I get up to at work.
After months of talking we do sure spend a lot of time together though.
All this time has encouraged me to buy a double bed, if you catch my drift. With all that was going on I hadn't quite realised how serious we'd gotten. We'd even moved in together. Although when Don asked me to marry him I said yes in a heartbeat!
We had a small wedding at a friend's house. A friend of his actually. Something Caliente or similar.
It was official, we were starting a legacy.
Don ended up giving up on his mixology dreams. He joined the athletic career. He looked hilarious as a mascot. We both took up hacking to bring in a bit of money, we managed to build an office onto the side of the other all in one room.
I had the strangest desire to witness a death so we kidnapped a neighbour. Keeping her locked in the office wasn't the most fun. She was so good at wining. Wah wah wah.
Within three days the reaper had come to claim his prey.
My whim had been completed yet I still felt sad.
To keep it out of my mind I started focusing on my work. I needed to improve my skills. Don started to do the same. We were spending a lot of time reading in the hopes of getting promoted to expand the home and start a family.

The Sims 2 - Uberhood
There's a download over 100 baby challengeMod The Sims, and it is awesome. It's an Uberhood by HystericalParoxysm. They took all the Maxis made 'hoods and made them into one big neighbourhood, so I don't have to switch between Pleasentveiw and Strangetown and all the others. You can download it here for free. All you need is an account.
I've only just installed it, but I'm really excited to make a huge mix of Plesantveiw and Strangetown Sims. I never played the newer 'hoods much, I focused much more on Strangetown, and I've got great memories of Pleasentview.
I've not got that many mods, just Inteenimater, and the InSIMnator. And very little custom content.
So now all my Sims 2 gameplay will be here then. I'm also adding all the other sub-neighbourhoods, the uni ones and the holiday ones, and downtown. Should be fun. We'll see I guess.
Now which family should I play first... I'd love to play the Goth family, or the Simths, but I think I might go for Lothariao.
Actually I'm going for the Broke family, and it's funny seeing the walk bys
The idea is the Sim has 100 babies, sounds simple, but households can only hold 8 Sims. Meaning I'd have to wait for them to get to teen and send them to uni. But it's do-able... I just need to choose a family. Cassandra Goth? Or one of the Calienate sisters?
Actually, Chloe Singles, or as she's been correctly named, Chloe Curious-Smith. This is so much better.
So I've moved the four Singles into a lot, and I'm making Chloe move out and placing her alone in an empty huge lot in Riverblossom Hills. And then i'll be starting this interesting project, so keep your eyes on my blog as I post what I'm doing in the ancient Sims 2...

100 Baby Challenge
I'm considering doing the 100 baby challenge I found ages ago on the exchange now. But it sounds like a lot of work. Why not? Haha, this would potentially be fun.The idea is the Sim has 100 babies, sounds simple, but households can only hold 8 Sims. Meaning I'd have to wait for them to get to teen and send them to uni. The Sims 4 Create A Sim Demo
Not worth it.
Yeah, it was a free download but I learnt nothing.
CAS is just like a stripped down version, the room is empty. Personally I liked working in that little room, it added a bit of character. This makes me think too much of The Sims 1. I find the buttons useless as well. It just doesn't fit with my way of thinking.
And it's not without sliders! They've simply hidden the sliders in the Sim, you're limited by what you can edit and by how far too. If I want a Sim with a hooked witch's nose, it's not possible because of limits. If I wanted to recreate a Sims 2 alien, again not possible.
Although I'm preferring the skin tone setting and the limited choices of clothing. The any texture and any colour thing put me off editing. Although it does seem very limited and like a huge step back.
The hair styles looked good. I liked some of them where they had colourful streaks, but otherwise it was fairly bland.
And I feel there is a lot of clothing missing. My instant thought was that it meant the Store would be live on the day of release to sell extra things. However I think they might release more in the base game.
I won't know until tomorrow. My download is still at 65% even thought I got it the day of release...

I'm downloading The Sims 4 Create-A-Sim demo
I'm really hoping this is good. From the video it looks great! And the fact they're using it as a selling point I can imagine it being good.
But I'm finding it hard to justify 60€ for a base game...
And even if this is really good. Really really amazing. I don't think I can... I mean, I've got the money, but if in 6 months it'll be 30-40€ why would I want to pay up front for that, especially if pools, which have been in all base games, and toddlers, that have been in the game since the second one, are missing.
I can't imagine my legacy games without toddlers, it takes a lot of the work out of it, somehow making the game seem easier. It makes it so weird. Kinda like the first game.
So we'll see how this goes, thoughts and screen prints coming soon.
I also got a new PC! So I can now run The Sims 3 in a good way, without lag...

A new attempt at a Sims 3 Legacy - Time Legacy - Generation 1 #1
I'm in Create a Sim right now. I've decided I've worked out enough of Into The Future to play a legacy with it. I'm going to do a time travelling legacy for as many generations as possible, and I'm trying to make my founder.
I'm not sure how well this will work because while my building skills in The Sims 2 were passable, my skills in The Sims 3 are hugely lacking.
I'm also trying to resist the urge to give her a funny skin colour. My founder is a she, I've already worked that much out. And the name. I think I might just make her the colour of the aliens from 2.
And now I'm onto the clothing. I really want her to look like a time traveller or something, so I'm using a lot of the funky futuristic clothing.
And it crashed. WAHHH! It's the first time that's happened in ages though.
Reload and recreating...
One of the pyjamas reminds me a little of the Fifth Element.
And now onto the traits! So I want her to make a family, exceed in the future and earn an income. Hmm...
And no, I present to you, Venus Time. A young adult Sim made with only the Base Game and Into The Future. With no custom content.
I focused mainly on blue and black for her clothing colours.
And I didn't bother tweaking her face too much as she came up already pretty, I just did her nose, chin and mouth.
Really nothing special, apart from the people who were walking through it when I moved her in.
And then, PANIC! I clicked on here and there was an option of "Bot Mode" or something, because of her Bot Fan trait. This is what happened. It was pretty cool though, I liked having her walk around in a load of cardboard boxes.
The best bit was to make her human again it was called "Organic Mode"
Eventually I built a little house, cheating and using the blueprints. It's ugly but functional.
I'm going to wait until Venus has some money and then build a nice house.
This is a bedroom with an en-suite, a kitchen and a dining room. After that I was out of money. I did tweak it a bit, take out doors, move around windows, add curtains.
Sadly I forgot to get an interior photos.
With the last of the money I bought one bit of high tech advanced technology to get her skill going up, and I sent her to get a job. She had a wish to work in the music career so I let her.
And one last thing I wanted to do, I wanted to change the future, because normal Oasis Landing was getting a bit repetitive, good, but...
So I decided to change it into a Utopia before going. I summoned the time traveller, and he appeared as a ghost. Who then scanned everything in the house.
He gave my Sim the task to scan three people, which was easy to do around Venus finishing work.
But I was tired so here I powered off and went to bed. After only one Sim day.
I would have played longer, but I'm not as young as I used to be.

- Computer Whizz, because it make sense with all the technology,
- Unstable, it's a new trait to me, it seemed funny but I worry it'll be a hindrance. Still, nobody can be perfect.
- Family Orientated. Because.
- Bot fan. Bot building? I hope it helps...
- Genius, because that always helps.
Life time wish of More Than a Machine. Reach level 10 bot building and give a plum bot sentience.
And now to accept everything.

My house building skills are terrible, but my town's houses were full and that is kind of cheating. So I chose an average sized lot. Nothing special.

I'm really bored
Saturday passed I bought a new expansion pack, Into The Future, it didn't look great, but I couldn't get my game to update and it seemed easier.
It is actually kind of cool, gimmicky though, I think it will wear off quickly.
I've been having fun taking the Bachelor and then the Landggrab families into the future. That was until this morning when I lost my keys, all my keys... meaning I can't get into my cupboard where I keep my computer and everything else I own in my shared room. Long story, if we don't lock it someone might steal it.
So now I'm really really bored on a borrowed PC that is running Windows XP and no Sims.
So I'm starting a blog on a whim.
I've played all the games and expansions from 1 to 2, a few expansions from 3 and several Sim City games. I used to dabble in recolours, and writing stories in The Sims 2. At one point it was my obsession and I'd do it all day.
Slowly it seems to be taking over again.
I'm excited to see TS4 come out, but I doubt my PC will cope, and I've not finished with number 3, or 2....
1 is dead, I'd like to replay it a bit though...
And SimCity 3000 wouldn't be badly missed, although I never could beat it.
So a new blog about my simming adventures. Another to add to my list of floundering blogs. But it's okay, I like writing anyway.
Not entirely sure what I'll post, but we'll see.
Thanks for dropping by.
